Kids are welcome at the Welcome Party and BBQ, but the wedding itself is adults‑only.

Should we rent a car?

Answer

You totally can, but parking in Seattle can be difficult. Uber/Lyft, or lime scooters are the easiest way to get around.

What’s the best way to get to the events?

Answer

Uber or Lyft is easiest. If you plan to rent a car, there is no parking at the MV Skansonia and limited parking at Golden Gardens in the summer. There is parking at Old Stove Ship Canal Brewery.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both. MV Skansonia has indoor spaces with large glass doors and an outdoor deck right on the lake.

Does the boat move?

Answer

Nope! The boat doesn't move, but please still be ontime.

What’s the weather like in August?

Answer

Generally warm and dry (Seattle’s best month), with temperatures usually between 70–85°F. Evenings on the water can be breezy.

Can I bring gifts to the venue?

We kindly request no physical gifts at the wedding. If you wish, you may send gifts to our home.
