We met in 2017 underneath the Manhattan Bridge in Brooklyn. It was Dylan's first week working at TuneCore, and we were let out of work early to enjoy the summer weather. Where else would 20-somethings go on a beautiful August day?? Happy hour of course! Dylan sat down across from Laura at a picnic table and the rest is history. Over the next year, we bonded over our love for music, trying new foods, traveling, movies, and so much more, and eventually started dating in the summer of 2018. In 2019, we moved in together in an amazing apartment we only dreamed of in Williamsburg, BK where we still live! We jokingly say we knew we were right for each other because we made it through the pandemic seeing each other every single day. If anything, it made us closer and showed us how important every day spent with one another is. In 2021, we made it out to Colorado to visit Laura's sister, Kathleen, and unbeknownst to Laura, Dylan was carrying around a ring the whole trip waiting for the perfect moment to propose. One day, we went on a hike at Lookout Mountain and when we came upon a perfectly secluded area, Dylan dropped to one knee and Laura obviously balled her eyes out. Needless to say, it was a trip we'll always remember. We're so excited for this next chapter of our lives together and are grateful to share it with all of you!
