Brazilian-style 4th of July Cook-out

We'll welcome everyone into Rio along Copacabana beach at the Espetto Carioca kiosk (in the same place as the Quiosque Arrastapé the map button shows). Food, music, and beer will be provided (mixed drinks available to order from the bar).

Wedding and Reception

3:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Dress code is formal (e.g. coat and tie, dresses). Military are welcome to wear service dress white (chokers, no cover needed) if you like

Please arrive by 3:30 in the afternoon to enjoy the nice views and get settled for the ceremony. We recommend taking an uber up to Solar Real. Anticipate a ~30 min ride from Copacabana or ~40 from Ipanema with traffic. After the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour followed by a dinner consisting of several different options of small plates and entrees, including dishes to accommodate any dietary restrictions! Later the DJ will open up the dance floor, and as the reception winds down we will have taxis/shuttles queued up to bring guests to the after party/their hotels.
