We understand that this is an uncertain time. We would love to see all of you at our wedding, but if anyone is uncomfortable attending we understand. We are not requiring masks, but of course, anyone who wants to wear one is welcome to. We will have hand sanitizer available as well.
We have a hotel block set up, but the cutoff date for booking a room is April 30th. In light of recent circumstances, we do not expect anyone to make any commitments until we know if it will be safe for people to travel or gather. If things change, we will post the hotel block information under the travel page of this website.
There are only about 5 or 6 parking spaces at the front of the park, and we are reserving these for our parents and vendors. The Porter County Council on Aging is about a block south of the park on Campbell Street, and has plenty of parking. It is a short walk, and there is an entrance into the park off Campbell with a pathway leading directly to where the seating for the ceremony will be. There is a gravel parking lot at the barn where the reception will be held. There is plenty of room for everyone to park there.
We have been living together for a few years now, and do not need any physical items. We have made a honeymoon fund, if you are interested in contributing to that, but of course the best gift is your company on our special day! We now have to postpone our honeymoon, due to Brian being offered a great new job opportunity. Any contributions to the honeymoon fund will be saved, and we are planning on taking the exact same trip in about a year!
We are having a pasta bar for dinner. Everything will be separate, so you can build your own plate however you want! There will be pasta, sauce, chicken, and vegetables.
We are not providing transportation from hotels to the wedding venue.
