The ceremony will be outdoors, while cocktail hour and the reception will be indoors!

Where do I park?

Answer

The Merrimon-Wynne House is located at 500 N. Blount Street in downtown Raleigh. Please enter the house through the main entrance, which faces Blount Street, as you arrive. During the weekend, a public parking lot is available. The parking lot is located on Polk Street (directly across the street from Merrimon Wynne). The following are driving directions: - Traveling down Blount Street from Peace Street, you will pass The Merrimon-Wynne House on your left. Take an immediate left on Polk Street and the parking lot will be located on your right between Blount and Person Street. - Traveling down Person Street from Downtown Raleigh, you will turn left on Polk Street and the parking lot entrance will be on your left, just past The Burning Coal Theater.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day! We kindly request that all of our guests dress in garden-inspired formal/semi-formal attire. Ladies, please wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen, please wear a suit. No jeans or shorts, please!

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride. Whites, ivories, and creams.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! So get ready to celebrate!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We would love to keep the wedding an intimate event with close friends and family! If you have been given a plus one, your invitation will be made out to "{Your Name} and Guest" Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we do! However, this will be an adults-only celebration with the exception of immediate family. We respectfully request that you only bring children included on your invitations. Your invitation will be made out to "The {Your Last Name} Family" if your children have been invited.

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not have your phones or cameras out during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture this special moment! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "No" so we can plan accordingly.

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. We will need to provide our vendors and the venue with the exact guest count by a certain date. While we will send out reminders, please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible.
