We are delighted to be celebrating our wedding soon and would love to have you join us. Kindly respond by March 1st so we can make the proper arrangements. Your presence would mean so much to us.
We're keeping our celebration very close-knit and meaningful, with just our closest loved ones. As such, we're only able to include those specifically named on the invitation. We hope you understand, it means so much to us to share this day with you.

In Austin, the temperatures in May are quite warm and pleasant. The average temperature during this month is around 75°F (24°C). On warmer days, the highs can reach up to approximately 85°F (29.5°C), providing perfect weather for outdoor activities like hiking or picnicking at one of the city's many parks. During the cooler nights, temperatures tend to drop down to about 67°F (19.6°C), which is still comfortable enough for an evening stroll or enjoying dinner on a patio. Overall, May offers a great balance of warmth without reaching the intense heat that Austin experiences later in the summer months.
The dress code for the ceremony is semi-formal. St. Mary Cathedral does require guests to dress modestly while inside the church. They ask that guests refrain from wearing "bare back, midriffs, short dresses/skirts, strapless, spaghetti straps, single straps or high slits (more than 4 inches above the knee), plunging necklines/backs, off the shoulder, side-less, and low or backless attire. These types of garments require a wrap/shawl, jacket, or stole to cover shoulders, cleavage, and exposed back and sides while in the Cathedral." For the reception, we kindly invite our guests to join us in embracing the spirit of our celebration by incorporating elegant western-inspired attire. While traditional formalwear is always welcome, guests may also add tasteful western elements (such as boots, hats, or accessories) to enhance the festive atmosphere of the evening.
There are many parking options available around the Cathedral. You are able to pay for street parking or in any of the garages located downtown. The Capitol Tower Garage is located just south of the Cathedral on the same block. It is located at 206 E 9th St. and accessed off San Jacinto Blvd. Entrance to the Cathedral from the garage is through the Donohue Center Gym and located on Elevator Floor #2. The Texas Capitol Visitors' Garage, which is 2 blocks away, is also an economical option on most weekdays. It's free for 2 hours and then $1/hour after that. It is located at 1201 San Jacinto Blvd.
