An evening of friends, family, and frivolity

We love karaoke and are planning to have it during the last hour or so of the reception! I (Taylor) was living with my best friend Alex at the time (who is now my maid of honor!). She begged me to tag along on her Tinder date to help break any awkward tension. Her date asked if he could bring a friend, who just so happened to be Ben! We hit it off as friends right away, he soon after moved to Richmond and the rest is history!

We went to Kill Devil Hills in the Outer Banks for a week with some of our closest friends and family. Ben knows how much I love the beach, and decided this trip would be the perfect opportunity. He proposed in front of everyone by the pool! It was so sweet and so perfect!

Who asked who out? Taylor asked Ben out for a year and a half before he finally said yes! How did you start dating? We went out to see an open mic night, wasn’t even supposed to be a date. One thing led to another and all of a sudden we decided to make it official, and fireworks went off as we had our first kiss as a couple ♥️ Who said I love you first? Our first date as an official couple was actually at Cracker Barrel 😂 (we love breakfast for dinner!) Where was your first kiss? Our first kiss as a couple was outside in Richmond near the Flying Squirrels stadium! Who initiated your first kiss? Taylor Plans date night? Ben likes to plan date nights, Taylor loves spontaneity and will initiate last minute date night plans! Who was interested first? Taylor (if you haven’t noticed 😂) Who picks where you go to dinner? We generally take turns and for the most part have the same taste in food! Who is the first one to admit when they’re wrong? Taylor 😂 Who cries more? Depends heavily on the day 😂 More sarcastic?
