We first met at his cousin/friend’s house gathering some time ago and didn’t think much of it. Fast forward a few years.. I’m hopping into my car at a shopping center parking lot and I hear someone say “this has to be my Lucky day”. We exchange information and began communicating via mobile. Bruce convinced me to go out with him and basically this was the beginning to our existence. His being persistent, consistent, thoughtfulness and kindness has definitely won me over and allowed me to feel safe. __________________________________________________________ The Proposal 10-02-2018 Bruce called on a Tuesday and said “Let’s go to dinner tonight?” Suspicous but compliant..he drove us to our original first date. Bar dining is our normal routine but this particular night he made reservations. As we were walking up to the table I noticed candles and chilled champagne. The waiter almost spoiled the night because he congratulated us as soon as we sat down. Bruce was so nervous he immediately states that he spoke to my son and asked if it was ok to marry his mom. With the kids blessings Bruce asked if I would marry him. Filled with emotions I replied Yes . I can only hope to make him feel just a special as he has made me feel. Thank you for loving me.
