Bruce was born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana. Where as Mikayla was born and raised in San Diego, California. Chances are that their paths would've never crossed. However fate had other plans as they both took a chance and moved away from their home towns, to Ohio. With New beginnings in mind and high hopes for their individual futures they met in May of 2021. Their connection was pretty much instantaneous and their love grew from there. They did a lot of traveling, to meet each others families, for fun, and to see the world. Their time in Ohio came to an end in February 2022 when they decided to continue their love story closer to his family in Louisiana.

The couple had a trip planned to see Mikayla's family for the holidays in San Diego. Before going on this trip Mikayla had mentioned to Bruce she always wanted to go on a date to Candy Cane lane to look at Christmas lights. Bruce made that dream come true by proposing to Mikayla in front of family and friends.

In front of all the people they love Mikayla and Bruce will be saying "I DO" at Mikayla's childhood home with Bruce's father marrying them, in San Diego, California. Following the ceremony will be a wonderful reception to celebrate the unity of their love as they dance their way into the rest of their lives!
