IMMEDIATELY! Because the wedding is so soon, we need to know who is attending as soon as possible so that we can be sure to rent enough seats for the Ring Ceremony. If you don't RSVP, we might not have a seat for you :) Also, if you are unable to come, we can offer space to others, so please let us know ASAP if you cannot attend.
Many aunts/uncles with adult children were input in the guest list separately, so if you don't see a name to RSVP for, be sure to look up each name. Also, we put this together quickly and may have missed something - reach out if you think that's the case!
Yes - if we have them in the guest count. If your kids are not listed as part of your RSVP, contact Joshua or Tessa.
No, we only have limited seating available and so we cannot accommodate people who are not indicated in your invitation.
Yes, people who are not invited into the sealing room can wait outside the temple if they would like. However, we are happy to just see you at the open house or ring ceremony! Children of sealing room attendees can remain on the temple grounds with adults also waiting.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early so that we can start on time.
The ring ceremony will be held in the Carpenter family's backyard, so there is parking along the street around the neighborhood.
We have recommended that the siblings and parents of Joshua and Tessa wear their favorite shade of blue, but otherwise: no - wear whatever colors you like!
There will be light snacks at the Open House (so we recommend you plan to get dinner before or after), and buffet-style food will be provided at the Ring Ceremony/Reception.
Because we live in NYC and will be flying directly from California to our honeymoon, we will not be able to travel with any gifts. Items bought from our registry will be sent to us in NYC when we select to have them delivered. Letters and cards are easy to travel with, so you are welcome to bring one if you'd like. However, no one is expected or required to gift anything, so no stress!
