The Story of Us

Meeting online, the two quickly became friends. It wasn’t until August 2014, when they first officially met for a birthday party, that they realized they may have stronger feelings for one another. After a few dates, they finally made it official March 3rd of 2015. As the months flew by, they were sure the relationship was something special. In 2016 after realizing they were inseparable, Tim and Marilyn decided to move to Colton, CA and to share their first home together. The relationship steadily grew stronger and stronger until on their second anniversary, Tim finally proposed to the excitement of both families. They planned a two year engagement and eagerly anticipate uniting both families to become one.

Meet the Bride

The youngest of four, raised in Rialto, CA. Marilyn was blessed with two amazing parents, whom she loves dearly. Throughout her childhood and still she remained close to her siblings. After graduating high school with dreams of pursuing a career as a college literature professor, Marilyn became an English Literature Major at the University of California, Riverside. In 2014 Marilyn’s life took an unexpected turn as she graduated from UCR and met Timothy, who quickly became the love of her life. In that same year she began pursuing her Masters in English at Cal Baptist University. Finally in 2016, Marilyn started her career as an English professor and was engaged to Timothy.

Meet the Groom

The eldest of three siblings, Tim was born in Los Angeles and raised in Long Beach, CA. Tim grew up with two loving parents and was raised in a Christian home. He is very close to his mother and his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth “In loving memory .” After finishing high school, he continued his education pursuing a career as a pharmacy technician. Although this was his passion, he was still unfulfilled. Tim recently returned to school to earn a Religious Studies degree with plans to pursue a career of in academics after he is married. At the age of 23, he met and fell in love with Marilyn, soon after he moved to Moreno Valley, CA. In 2016, he asked for Marilyn's hand in marriage.
