Our Story
Aly and Alex met in typical 21st century fashion; through a dating app called Hinge. Alex messaged Aly first, confirming that the correct term is Porkroll and NOT Taylor Ham.
After a couple weeks, Aly and Alex went on their first date in Ocean City, MD. Aly and Alex clicked so well that they actually went on their first two dates in the same day.
6 months and one adorable cat (Rambo) later, Aly and Alex moved in together, taking their first big leap in their relationship. They spent several years in Salisbury, MD and added another cat (Chunk) to the family.
In the winter of 2023, Alex got a job at Princeton University and the couple moved back to the NJ/PA area. Happy to be closer to family and friends, Aly shortly followed in Alex's footsteps and began working at Princeton as well.
In keeping with their New Year's tradition, Aly and Alex popped a bottle of champagne just after midnight at the start of 2024, though this time it was as the future Mr. and Mrs. Brownstein!
