FAQs

The Wedding Website of Katherine Kubancik and Isaac Brown
Question

Where and when is the wedding?

Answer

We are thrilled to host our ceremony and reception at Boulder's iconic Flagstaff House. Guests should plan to arrive between 4:30 & 4:45 PM for a 5 PM ceremony start time. Cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing to follow!

Question

Getting to the Flagstaff House

Answer

The Flagstaff House is 15 minutes from downtown Boulder, with the last 5 minutes up a winding mountain road. While parking is available, we want all our guests to be able to celebrate without worrying about driving down the mountain afterward. Please consider ridesharing (Uber & Lyft are readily available in Boulder) and arriving by 4:45 PM. Shuttles will be provided back to Boulder after the event; more details to come.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Only guests specifically named on the invitation are invited. No plus ones, please.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request that no children attend our wedding-day festivities, so all our guests can enjoy an adults-only evening. If you are bringing the whole family to Boulder and need recommendations for child care on the wedding day, get in touch with Katherine!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate all food allergies and dietary restrictions! When RSVPing, please let us know any preferences in advance so we can ensure the Flagstaff House can take care of you.

Question

Are there festivities leading up to the big day?

Answer

Yes! We are planning celebrations for both Thursday and Friday nights at some of our favorite Boulder restaurants. More info to come!

Question

I’m new to altitude, what should I know?

Answer

We love our Rocky Mountain High! Remember, Boulder is approximately 5400 feet above sea level and is technically a high desert, which means the sun is strong and you can dehydrate quickly. Make sure to use sunscreen even if it's cloudy and consume/bring more water than you think you need. While celebrating with us throughout the weekend, keep in mind alcohol can affect people differently at high altitudes; 1 alcoholic beverage = 2 at altitude!
