Matron of Honor
Ashley and Clare first met in person at Colorado Christian University, where Ashley is studying Family and Marriage Therapy. Ashley was understandably nervous for her first five-day residency in Colorado, but Clare turned out to be exactly the kind of friend she needed that day. They immediately bonded over their shared passion for counseling, their Christian faith, and their similar sense of humor. Even though Clare now lives in Wisconsin, she always makes the effort to support Ashley and stay connected—including multiple trips to Washington and Colorado! One of Ashley’s favorite memories with Clare is attending a Peach Pit concert together at Red Rocks, a day full of laughter and unforgettable fun.
Ceaira Brown
Maid of Honor
Ashley and Ceaira have been besties since around age 4! Even through all of life's challenges, Ceaira and Ashley have remained close and they are always there to support one another! Some of their best memories together include seeing the Jonas Brothers in concert (twice), celebrating the birth of Ceaira's daughter, and spending countless hours on Ceaira's trampoline as kids! Ashley is grateful she can always rely on Ceaira when she is feeling down!
Makayla Ritchie

Ashley & Makayla first met at yoga. From the moment they met, Ashley admired Makayla's inviting and cheerful energy and Ashley knew she wanted to get to know her more! Ashley & Makayla have become great friends and always have so much fun together! Makayla always offers words of encouragement when Ashley needs it and is an amazing role model to Ashley when it comes to her marriage and family values. Ashley’s favorite memory of Makayla is getting to know her better over her birthday weekend (she is really the life of the party)!
Taryn Geyer

Taryn and Ashley are cousins and have many fond memories together over the years! Ashley met Taryn when she was a toddler and remembers babysitting her and creating funny inside jokes that stand the test of time! Ashley is so proud of the woman Taryn has become and admires the bond they have today! Some most recent fun memories of theirs include hiking, yoga, and painting pottery!
Bailey Kavanagh

Ashley & Bailey are also cousins! Ashley remembers fondly holding Bailey shortly after she was born and having many sleepovers with her and her brother Kaiden as kids! Bailey always brings such fun and sassy energy ever since she was a kid, which Ashley admires! Some of the most recent fun memories they share include grabbing coffee, going to breakfast, and just hanging around downtown Poulsbo! Ashley is so proud of Bailey and excited to see where life takes her as she approaches high school graduation!
Iris Becker

Ashley was a nanny to Iris for nearly a year and a half! In that time, Ashley helped Iris grow into the fun-loving toddler she is today and enjoys babysitting and spending time with Iris and her family whenever she can! Iris can be shy at times, but always enjoys adventures! Ashley's favorite memory of Iris is when they would take "long" walks around the neighborhood when Iris was learning to walk/run!
Fraya Barber

Ashley was SO excited for Ceaira (maid of honor) when she first told her she was pregnant with Fraya! Watching Fraya grow this past year has been such a joy, and Ashley is incredibly proud of Ceaira as a mom. From celebrating each little milestone to getting to see Fraya’s sweet personality shine through, it’s been such a special journey. Having Fraya as the flower girl feels especially meaningful, and Ashley couldn’t be happier to have her helping lead the way down the aisle.

Kenny met Ken about ten years ago while learning to play disc golf. What was meant to simply become a hobby for Kenny quickly turned into a passion which led him and Ken to travel and compete across the state together. Ken & Kaitlyn have supported Kenny so much throughout the years, even having him as a roommate when he first moved out of his parents home. Recently, Kenny was Ken's best man in Ken & Kaitlyn's wedding and we are all excited to see Ken show up for Kenny and Ashley in the same way! Kenny knows he can always call Ken and he will be there for him no matter what since they are basically family!
Kyle Brown

Kyle is Kenny’s younger brother (and no, sadly they weren’t named after the South Park characters). Kenny has great memories from family trips to Vegas, Alta Lake, and Leavenworth, but his favorites are always the ones that show Kyle’s fearless side. In Leavenworth, Kyle was the only one who could handle the spiciest hot sauces without even blinking. And in haunted houses, he walks through the scariest rooms with zero reaction while everyone else freaks out. Kenny also loves how positive and caring Kyle is, and he often wishes he had more of that himself.
Troy Ritchie

Troy comes into the wedding party through the close bond his wife Makayla shares with the bride. While he and the groom haven’t known each other long, the groom deeply admires the way Troy leads his family as a husband and father. He’s honored to have him standing by his side and is excited to celebrate with people who inspire him.
Rowan Ritchie
Ring Bearer
Rowan is an energetic five-year-old who brings endless excitement wherever he goes. The son of bridesmaid Makayla and groomsman Troy, he’s practically part of the wedding day dream team. Rowan loves racing around with Kenny and keeping everyone on their toes, but he’s also a total sweetheart. One of Ashley and Kenny's favorite memories of him is when he cheered Ashley on during her first half marathon—complete with handmade signs and all the enthusiasm in the world. They’re thrilled to have him as a ring bearer and can’t wait to see his big smile coming down the aisle.

Jackson is the bride’s little cousin and a wonderful part of the family. Although he lives far away, Ashley and Kenny wish they could see him more often they are grateful to share this important day with him. It’s especially meaningful to have him in the wedding since Ashley once stood as a bridesmaid in his mom’s wedding.

Max is joining his older brother, Jackson as a ring bearer! Even though Ashley and Kenny have only been able to meet him a couple of times, his big smile and curious personality always stand out. She’s thrilled to have him be part of their special day and can’t wait to see him charm everyone on his walk down the aisle.
Michelle Jayroe
Mother of the Bride
Once you spend enough time with the bride you will shortly realize that her and her mum are pretty much inseparable! Ashley always describes her mum as her best friend and role model. Ashley calls her mum multiple times a day and still asks her a million questions, but Michelle enjoys it (mostly lol)! Ashley loves how they spend their birthdays together every year at the spa and how her mum always supports her in every single thing she does! Ashley hopes she can be as great of a mom one day as Michelle, but that is truly a tall order as she has set the bar very very high!
Jeff Jayroe
Father of the Bride
One of Kenny's favorite things to do is call Ashley "little Jeff" because Ashley really does take after her dad in many ways! While Ashley and her dad can both be a bit hotheaded at times, they also are both fun, vibrant, and loud! It is Jeff who taught Ashley to be brave and strong against all odds (and where she gets her stubbornness from)! Ashley appreciates how her dad always looks out for her and wants the best for her life. As many of you know, teenage Ashley was a lot to handle, but when Kenny began dating Ashley, Jeff knew right away that this guy was finally worthy of Ashley's love. Jeff's love for Ashley and Michelle showed her exactly what she should look for in a husband.

Tom has been a guiding force in Kenny’s life, helping him grow into the man he is today. Growing up, Kenny was his dad’s little buddy, always eager to learn from him and soak in his wisdom. Their bond even extends to their shared love of airplanes—Kenny has followed in his dad’s footsteps by working at Boeing. Some of their favorite memories together include camping trips and playing disc golf, moments that reflect the fun, supportive, and lifelong friendship they share.

Becky is a loving, fiercely protective mom who’s always unapologetically herself. Growing up, Kenny quickly learned that her honesty could be blunt, hilarious, and sometimes a little embarrassing—but it always showed him how much she cares. From her example, he’s learned empathy and how to care deeply for others, especially Ashley. Even the silliest lessons helped shape him into the man he is today, and her honesty, humor, and heart continue to guide him every day.
