“Thomas was my neighbor when I moved into the Efird dorms at Wake Forest. He was the “navy” guy next door. The first week I saw him cut his own head in the bathroom and knew he was an interesting character. The man mowed his head like he was the mowing the lawn with no fear. Once we sat down at the Pit our first week and got to know each other we became brothers ever since. Thomas was a gentle giant who for some reason was the go to guy for everybody and they mommas to talk about their personal problems with. He was a good listener who always could offer some good levelheaded advice so I can’t say I’m surprised. He started off as boy who wanted to be called “Thom-cat” and became a man who goes by Thomas with a beautiful ambitious wife. I look forward to watching their marriage flourish.”
