Designed by [John James Audubon], Audubon Park is across from the wedding ceremony, home to the Audubon Zoo, a golf course, and walking trail through live oaks, waterfowl, and New Orleans architecture. A lovely place for a walk.
Frenchmen Street is home to many of New Orleans' best jazz clubs which come alive later in the evening and are well worth the walk from the French Quarter. Snug Harbor, the Spotted Cat, and Blue Nile are the more well known digs but Frenchmen is beset with many unique holes in the wall worth a peek.
Magazine Street is Uptown New Orleans' premiere shopping and retail thoroughfare. Peruse its many boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, and bars to wet your pallets and pick up a parlor piece to take home.
