Dustin came to North Platte with Bill Watts to get supplies at Menards on March 28, 2019 and decided to go to Applebee’s. Courtney was working the high top tables 21-30 and saw that 2 guys came in and sat at table 22! The whole front of house staff was commenting on how cute Dustin was and they told Courtney to ask how old he was. Courtney obliged and went over and told him he was the talk of the bar and that they all wanted to know how old he was because they thought he was cute! He asked Courtney if SHE wanted his phone number, and if SHE thought he was cute. She told him that she did think he was attractive, but she wasn’t looking for anything at the time. Courtney was seven months pregnant and was focusing on her future with her baby coming in May 2019 .. When Dustin was leaving, he handed Courtney a receipt with his phone number on it! She texted him that night! they continued to talk for the next few weeks here and there. Emersyn Grace was born a few weeks later and Dustin was there for Courtney after delivery and they have been inseparable ever since.
