What is black tie optional?

Answer

Black Tie Optional means formal attire is encouraged, with a few guidelines. See the photo above for inspo! Women: Long evening gowns or elegant jumpsuits. Men: Tuxedos welcome! If not, a black or dark suit with a jacket, tie, and dress shoes is required—no light suits. 🚫 Please avoid: Cocktail dresses, semi-formal/casual looks (jeans, polos, etc.), white dresses—let the bride shine!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue by 3:00 PM ⏰. The hotel shuttle 🚌 will pick up at 2:00 PM and depart at 2:30 PM—be on time as it can’t wait!

Will i need a jacket or shawl?

Answer

Our ceremony is outdoors in November, so bring a jacket or shawl 🧥 just in case! Cocktail hour will have both indoor and outdoor spaces, and the reception is in a cozy tent. Dress for the season! 🍂

Is transportation provided?

Answer

For guests at the Tru, we’ve arranged shuttle service to/from the venue 🚍. Pickup starts at 2:00 PM, and the shuttle departs at 2:30 PM on November 7th. Optional early pickup at 8:00 PM and final at 9:45 PM to return to the hotel. Please plan accordingly if you need different timing! ⏰

Is there parking?

Answer

Not staying at the hotel block? No worries! 🚗 The venue has plenty of parking, but no valet service. If you plan to enjoy the party, consider a ride-share (Uber or Lyft) to get home safely. 🥂

Can I leave my car overnight at Rust Manor House?

Answer

Yes! You can leave your overnight; however, you must pick up your car by 9 AM the next morning.
