Connor and Miranda met each other for the first time when Connor came to pick up Miranda at her parents' house in Hastings for our first date. They went out to eat Italian and watch a play together (obviously Connor knew from the start how to win over Miranda's heart, Haha!).

Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic, Connor was able to choose and purchase a ring for Miranda. He waited for the perfect time and got down on one knee while celebrating the 4th of July at Miranda's grandma's house. He pretended to not be able to light a firework and had Miranda come to the rescue only to pull out a ring and get down on one knee to ask Miranda to marry him. She said "yes" and the wedding plans began. We will all always lovingly remember that special day with its perfect proposal "down on the farm." :)

Fun Fact: We like this date because it is 19-20-21 (easy to remember haha!).
