We met in the classic online dating way, on Hinge. We had our first date on April 11, 2025. From the first time we started talking, everything was all giggles. We had so much in common from our sense of humor to the future we want to build for ourselves and immediately we wanted to spend as much time together as possible. By June we were inseparable. We made the relationship official on a 10 day trip to Lake Powell. (Yes, that was our first trip together). After which we ended up taking several other trips, Flaming Gorge, Lake Powell again, Little Moab, and Capitol Reef. We accidentally introduced Jon to my son when my water softener exploded and sent resin beads into every pipe in my house, completely stopping the flow of water and he had to come help solve the issue. After that, Jon kept coming around and building a strong relationship with Leo. Today they are best buddies. He calls Jon "G" because he thought Jon started with the letter G, but it fits. Jon proposed for the first time on August 2nd at the Westerner with a ring he made out of a gum wrapper. And he never stopped proposing after that. It wasn't until after he bought a ring that I decided he was serious. We've been planning our wedding since September but the most recent proposal was more of a formality. Jon and I knew we'd be together from very early on in our relationship. And us being the crazy kids that we are thought it would be wildly romantic to get married on the 1 year anniversary of our first date. We've considered ourselves together ever since.
