We are STILL getting Married!

We met in medical school. We instantly became friends, and often found ourselves in long, thought provoking conversations. Whether in a heated debate or connecting over our shared beliefs, the chemistry was always present. However it took a few years for us to put two to two together but eventually we gave in to the undeniable. Since then everything has been "just right". It was hard to believe we missed out on all this magic for so long, but we both agreed that wherever life is taking us, we were going together.

Oh, the proposal! On one beautiful Saturday evening in January (perks of living in San Diego), we went to La Jolla Cove and walked along the coast line. At sunset we found a mostly private section right off the cliff, where Charles insisted on taking a moment to "take it all in." It truly was breath taking! After a few deep breaths, Charles pulled out a little red box. Jessica then proceeded to hold Charles very tight, cover her mouth, and repeatedly said "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!" Totally missing everything Charles had said including the big "question." So, after Jessica calmed down, Charles then quietly stated: "You didn't answer the question!" For which Jessica said: "Yes, of course!"
