We first met in high school and quickly became friends. Thanks to a little unintentional matchmaking from our friends — who let Wil know I was single — we found ourselves on our first date years later, after college. What started as a simple reunion quickly became the first chapter of forever. From the very beginning, it felt as though no time had passed. The same friendship and spark were still there, only stronger. That first date was effortless and warm, and there was an undeniable connection that just felt right. Since then, we’ve built our relationship on laughter, kindness, and a deep appreciation for life’s little moments. Our days are filled with simple joys: weeknights cooking dinner together, weekend mornings playing chess over coffee, and cozy nights watching comedy shows, laughing until our stomachs hurt. On October 11, 2025, we took a beautiful fall trip to Middleburg — my favorite season, and one of our favorite places. Overlooking a quiet, serene lake, Wil knelt down and asked the question that would change everything. With a heartfelt “yes,” we began the next chapter of our forever.
