Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Lindsey Elam and David Brown
We're so excited to share some of our favorite places with you. Dayton Art Institute - it's not only where we're celebrating our special day, but DAI's collection has evolved to become recognized nationally and internationally as one of the finest collections in the Midwest. The Oregon District on 5th Street in downtown Dayton has numerous shops, restaurants, bars and more. It is Dayton's oldest historic district, dating back to the 1800s. Check out our hometown of Miamisburg! There you'll find another historic district right along the Great Miami River. Walk up the Miamisburg Mound, at 65 feet tall it is the largest burial mound in the Eastern United States. Hang out at Riverfront Park, and walk to shop, sip and eat. While you might not have time for a movie but if you do, head to The Plaza Theater, originally opening in 1919 through 1968, and later reopening in 2015. If you can't make a movie, definitely take a peek inside.

Bennett's Publical Family Sports Grill

67 South Main Street, Miamisburg, OH 45342

A great locally owned and operated restaurant and sports bar. We enjoy most Sundays here during football season. A true scratch kitchen, Lindsey loves the Philly and green beans. While Dave is a sucker for the pork tenderloin sandwich. And the cauliflower crust pizza is to die for!

Bullwinkle's Top Hat Bistro

Bullwinkle's Top Hat Bistro

19 North Main Street, Miamisburg, OH 45342

Bullwinkle's has a great outdoor patio area with firepits and jumbotron. And the best ribs EVER. This was Lindsey's first job and where her and Dave met. We still enjoy dinner every Monday night with our best friends, a 15+ year tradition.

Jayne's On Main

90 South Main Street, Miamisburg, OH 45342

The coolest wine bar you'll ever visit. Equipped with a great, knowledgeable staff serving not only wine but a fabulous Espresso Martini!

Good Time Charlie's - Miamisburg

61 South Main Street, Miamisburg, OH 45342

One of our favorite watering holes of all time. A true 5-star dive bar, with live music and a guaranteed great time.

Hamburger Wagon

12 East Central Avenue, Miamisburg, OH 45342

Yes, it is truly just a wagon that sells hamburgers and has been since the flood of 1913. It is a Miamisburg rite of passage and if you stop through our hometown you have to try one. Old school as it gets, they're still cash only.

Ron's Pizza

1 South Main Street, Miamisburg, OH 45342

Last but not least, a Miamisburg institution. Family owned since 1964 and our hometown staple since then. Daves tried and true order that all the bartenders know is a "deluxe with extra sausage extra crispy".
