Katie and Jack met in Minneapolis through mutual friends and became friends themselves when Jack was playing junior hockey. They walked around Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun often, where they truly came to know one another. In August 2016, they started dating. They lived apart for approximately a year and a half after Jack moved to Arkansas to play hockey for the University of Arkansas before Katie made the decision to move with him. They had a blast together throughout college, going to Razorback baseball and football events, exploring Northwest Arkansas' many trails, and hanging out with their friends. They bought their first house together in April 2021, and they now reside there with both of their dogs, Roo and Porky. They are eager to continue building a wonderful life together!
