Update! (New Date: May 16th, 2021)

Answer

Hello everyone! We thank you for your patience with us as we figure out the new details. Right now our wedding celebration has been further postponed to May 16th, 2021. However, we will still being making our marriage covenant before God and an intimate group of family on September 13th, 2020. Our celebration will still be taking place next year at same location, and the hotel information is staying the same. If you have already sent in your RSVP card and can no longer make the new date, please update your response on our website and reach out to let us know. If you have NOT sent in your RSVP, you may still do so. Please let us know if you have any other questions. We also ask to keep us in your prayers, as difficult decisions had to be made. We sincerely look forward to celebrating with you all in May, as we publicly recommit our new marriage. God Bless!

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your kids, we really do! But we want this wedding to be your night off! Please follow the guest count on the invitation sent out to you.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. Once again, please follow your invitations.

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

Please refrain from using any type of camera or electronic devices during the ceremony to take videos/photos. We have hired a team of excellent photographers and videographers to capture our special moments.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is no transportation set up from the Seaview Hotel. However once arrived at The Smithville Inn, there is complementary valet parking located in front of the building to avoid the parking difficulty from the Mayfest event. If you booked at the Colonial Inn, there is no transportation needed; it is only a short walk across the bridge.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

There will be a cash bar open during both the cocktail hour and during the reception. Cash bar really means cash! There will be no option to keeping a tab open. If we do not have what you are looking for, there is a full service bar located in the front of the building and at Fred and Ethel's Tavern.
