Real ID's or Passport Required for Flying as of May 7, 2025

If you are planning to fly to the wedding, all flights as of May 7, 2025 will require you to have either a Real ID Driver's Licence OR a valid Passport. You will not be allowed to board your flight without one of these two forms of ID. If you do not have one of these please take the steps to secure one as early as possible so you can be there to celebrate with us! To obtain a Real ID you must go to your local DMV with the following... At a minimum, you must provide documentation showing: 1) Full Legal Name; 2) Date of Birth; 3) Social Security Number; 4) Two Proofs of Address of Principal Residence; and 5) Lawful Status. Check to see if your DMV can provide this on site or if it will need to be mailed. More info on Real ID's can be found by clicking the View button below. If you wish to obtain or renew a passport instead please go to https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html but please be aware this can be a very lengthy wait time.

Key West International Airport (EYW)

Key West International Airport located on the island of Key West is the closest available airport located roughly 3.5 miles to Old Town Key West where the wedding will take place, and roughly 2 miles from New Town Key West where the suggested hotel is located. Direct flights are available from both Philadelphia (PHL) and Washington Ronald Regan National DC (DCA) on American Airlines and from Pittsburgh (PIT) on Allegiant Airlines. Connecting flights are available from a variety of other cities. Only American Airlines, Delta, Silver Airways, United, Jet Blue, Allegiant and now Breeze Airways fly into Key West International Airport. Breeze has fairly cheap flights into Key West from Orlando. Alternatively you can fly into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) or Miami International Airport (MIA) and drive to Key West in a rental car. The drive from Fort Lauderdale to Key West is roughly 4 hours without stops and Miami to Key West is 3 hours and 15 minutes without stops. There are a number of things to see and do along the way through the various keys. Please be aware many of the hotels (Best Western excluded) charge a daily fee for parking, even for guests, and available parking in Old Town Key West is limited. If you plan to drive down from mainland Florida, we strongly recommend you use the hotel provided shuttles or Uber/Lyft to get around the island.

The Best Western is one block east of Duval Street and roughly 1.1 miles south of the wedding venue. Rooms are roughly $325 plus tax per night with a free rewards membership. Parking is free and they do not charge resort fees. Full hot breakfast included for free. Heated outdoor pool. No discount or room block available. Just book online or via phone.

Courtyard Key West Waterfront

This hotel is roughly 3 miles from the venue in New Town. There are no resort fees and no parking fees. The 2-story, multi-bldg., campus style layout (no elevator) features a large outdoor junior olympic size heated swimming pool and nearby hot tub in the center of the complex. A Tiki Bar located adjacent to the pool, a private sunbathing/kayak launching beach, a 300 foot observation boardwalk, free computer workstations in the lobby, complimentary in-room refrigerators and laptop size safes. Breakfast is additional at the onsite cafe.

Margaritaville Beach House Key West

Margaritaville Beach House is roughly 2.8 miles from the venue and is a resort property in New Town. Rooms are roughly $465+ per night plus tax (more for New Year’s Eve). A nightly resort fee of $54 plus tax is applied to all reservations. This fee provides guests with exclusive access to the resort’s amenities, services, and activities including: Shuttle service to and from downtown and the Key West International Airport Daily parking for vehicles (boat, trailer, RV, or jet-ski parking is not permitted) Welcome cocktail during check-in 11:30 am - 7 pm Daily poolside refreshments including freshly blended fruit smoothies at noon and popsicles at 2 pm Daily lobby refreshments including fruit-infused water and lemonade and fresh-baked cookies between 3-5 pm Pool towels for water-sports Breakfast is additional at the onsite restaurant. This hotel is roughly 2 miles from the venue in New Town. This hotel is a good option for two couples looking to split a cottage or anyone who needs space for 4-6 people. The standard rooms are not overly economical but the King/King Cottages are roughly $750/nt plus taxes and fees.
