Maid of Honor
Kendall has been my partner in crime since we met in 2nd grade girl scouts. Our 5th grade teacher nicknamed us Beavis and Borris (Butthead wasn't a wise choice from a teacher, I suppose) because we were always together and probably interrupting class with laughter. Kendall and I have stood by each other's sides for every major life event and I am so lucky to call her my best friend. She was at my pickle themed 12th birthday party, the first friend to drive in my car when I got my license, and I can't wait to have her by my side to celebrate my marriage.
Bridesmaid
Macy started as one of Trent’s friends from high school, but the day we met when she visited Tallahassee in 2015 was the start of such a fun friendship. I immediately claimed her as my friend (sorry Trent) and the rest is history. Macy is my spontaneous friend who will drive 5 hours to a tattoo convention with me and back in one day, and I couldn’t imagine my life without her.
Bridesmaid
Shannon and I met in 6th grade volleyball and our chaotic middle school girl energies could not be matched. She went on to be a collegiate volleyball athlete and I… well we know how I ended up. Every memory I have with Shannon is full of laughter and genuine happiness and I am so glad we have stayed close over the years. She is such a supportive friend and has always had my back.
Bridesmaid
If you ask me about Nia, I will immediately say she is one of the most special people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. If I am feeling happy? Talk to Nia. Sad? Talk to Nia. Goofy? Definitely talk to Nia because her laugh is contagious. As we have grown, Nia and I continue to bond over the struggles of getting a phd and our love for telling it like it is. I love this woman!
Bridesman
Patrick is my longest running friendship. From Mrs. Vidick’s kindergarten class to “loner lunch” in high school where we sat as far away from the cafeteria as possible, Patrick has been a rock in my life. We have shared some of my favorite life memories together, and his place in my heart is cemented.
Bridesmaid
Harper, or "birdie" as we call her, is a ray of sunshine and such a fun person to be around. We met in middle school P.E. camp where we avoided running at all costs, and our friendship was solidified. My memories with Harper are full of fun beach trips and goofy inside jokes, and we are forever bonded through our shared monthly pilates subscription.
Bridesmaid
Julia is our resident horse girl. She absolutely lights up a room. She has such a great sense of humor combined with an incredible heart, which I have known since our early elementary school days. When Morty is sick, Julia texts me at all hours of the night to help. She is truly the best and her laugh can be heard from miles away, so you can't miss her!
Bridesmaid
Caitlin and I became ride-or-die best friends in Geography graduate school. Through hours in coffee shops, numerous talks about social theory, and endless support I came to know Caitlin as someone I would always cherish. Her love for frogs and toads is only an added bonus. One day she will certainly tell me to stop buying her ceramic frogs!
Best Man
Jesse and I met in high school in the Fall of 2010. We became fast friends over the Xbox classic “Castlevania: Curse of darkness” which I’m convinced is still in the disc tray to this day. Jesse even introduced Maddie and me at a Halloween party in 2015. We have always been there for one another and we always will.
Groomsman
Dan and I met in college through the group that became known as “The Drew Crew” (TM). Between his mesmerizing dance move - The Dan - and our attempt at re-creating Trouble the board game for our final project in Advanced Java Programming our friendship grew.
Groomsman
I met Austin through his brother Ryan over some kitchen table Magic: the Gathering. Soon after Austin became one of my closest friends. He was the type of friend that pushes you out of your comfort zone, but shows you what you’re missing by playing life too safe.
Groomsman
I met Brandon in 6th grade in our middle school Chorus class. Brandon helped introduce me to such foundational games as Dungeons and Dragons, Settlers of Catan, and Magic: the Gathering, which were eventually instrumental in wooing Maddie. Even though we don’t live in the same place anymore, we will always able to pick up something new and nerdy and have a good time.
Groomsman
I met Jon the night of the Fall 2011 Spirit of Jupiter bake sale, where I accidentally crushed his cupcakes. I’ve never met anyone else quite like Jonathan, and despite my initial blasphemy, Jonathan has been a powerfully loyal friend ever since.
Groomsman
Luc and I became friends when he worked in the library at Palm Beach State College. I convinced him to try Magic: the Gathering, and together we tore up the Standard scene at the local game store. Luc eventually moved up to Tallahassee where his enigmatic personality intertwined with our close group of friends.
Groomsman
I met David through Brandon at our lunch table in Middle School. We became close friends as he was the only other person I knew that would stay up all night playing boardgames, and I attribute my distrusting nature in games to the many dead truces we forged over the years. Though we don’t get to game like we used to, I always look on those nights, spent with a good friend, fondly.
Woof of Honor
The goodest boy!
