On labor day weekend, a mutual friend asked us both to come spend time with a group of friends. I was a little hesitant because I did not know too many people there. I am so thankful that I went out of my comfort zone and went anyways! Little did either of us know that our friend CJ had been secretly planning for weeks for us to meet that day. Thankfully he did, because Brandon and I instantly had a connection. We spent all evening talking and getting to know one another! After that night, we spent every weekend together and eventually everyday! Now here we are almost two years later planning our wedding together for December.

I could not have imagined a more perfect proposal! Brandon and I planned a couple's photography session with my life long friend and bridesmaid Abby. The day before the proposal, we spent all day shopping and picking out outfits that would coordinate with one another so we would look perfect! Then the day finally came, and I can not imagine the nerves he was feeling. On the way to the session, I made him promise me we were not getting engaged that day. However this turned out to be far from the truth! During the middle of the photo session, he got down on one knee, and asked me to spend forever for him. I was in so much shock, and so was our photographer Abby! It was such a special day and I love having pictures to look back on that moment.
