FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP on this website by May 31st. This is important for us to coordinate housing so we greatly appreciate you being on top of this!

Question

Is there anything we need to bring?

Answer

If you're staying on site, each room includes bedding, bath towels, facecloths, body soap, hair dryer, iron, private bathroom, private balcony. We'd recommend bringing your own toiletries unless you're a 10 in 1 type of person. :) There is a main refrigerator downstairs, no refrigerators or coffee makers in the rooms. Activities: -Walking shoes (hiking trails around the property) -Golf clubs (Club De Golf Montpellier is within walking distance) -Swim suit (there is a hot tub / Nordic spa on site and we are in front of a lake! Feel free to bring a swim suit and beach towel if you'd like to partake) Food/beverages: We will be supplying all food/drink for the weekend. If there is anything specific you like to eat/drink, feel free to bring it with you. The tap water is drinkable. There is a grocery store about a 7 minute drive from the venue if there is any specific/last minute that's needed.

Question

Dress code

Answer

We want you to relax, be comfortable and have fun. For the ceremony/reception, please wear semi-formal attire. Wear whatever color you feel best in. The ceremony and cocktail hours will hopefully be outdoors (on grass!), and the reception will be indoors. Aside from the ceremony and reception, pack whatever you'd feel more comfortable in. We would recommend packing layers, as it could be both warm and chilly at end of September.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Given the limited space at the venue, we'd like to keep the guest list just to those who know us well so we're unfortunately not able to permit additional plus-ones at our wedding. The name of every guest invited to attend will be clearly listed on your invitation.

Question

What is the earliest I can arrive to the venue?

Answer

You may arrive anytime from 2pm onwards on Friday 26th. Please see the travel tab for flights/shuttle information!

Question

What are the details on the location?

Answer

There is Wifi. There is no room service or official check-in, but you will receive room assignments when you arrive. The lodge is very rural, with a small town a 7 minute drive away. Once you arrive, you won't need to go anywhere, as both the ceremony and reception are on site!

Question

How do I pay for accommodations?

Answer

We will send you information regarding when payment is due and how to pay. We are asking that our guests staying on site pay $75 per person per night (excluding children).

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

For guests within driving distance of the venue, there is plenty of free on-site parking.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception (feel free to bring cash for tips). The rest of the weekend, we will have beer, wine, and some liquor/mixed drinks available. We will also have water and seltzer.

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! We expect nothing more, but if you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to the Broughton home at 400 Shaker Rd, Northfield, NH 03276. A wedding card box will also be at our reception.
