FAQs

Question

Are kids allowed to attend?

Answer

No. We love your kiddos, but we'd like this to be an adults-only evening, so we ask that you find a babysitter. The reception location has desert landscaping and a pool that could be a hazard.

Question

Are masks required?

Answer

NO!! Most attendees will not be wearing masks, but you may wear one if it makes you feel more comfortable. However, we do not want masks in our photos; we want to see your beautiful faces! Please remove your mask COMPLETELY before taking a photo.

Question

Do I have to buy a gift or can I just give cash?

Answer

Whatever you prefer! Cash, check, PayPal, Zelle are all options. Plus, you can check out our "Registry" page for two different cash funds: Home Improvement Projects and a Honeymoon Fund!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Get dressed up a bit, but we want you to be comfortable! We're doing things more on the casual side. Girls: dresses if you want, flats or heels, whatever you're comfortable in (it might be cold) Guys: slacks/khakis and a button up, jeans with a blazer, etc. No need to wear a tux :)

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! Dinner will be provided in addition to soft drinks, beer, wine, and hard seltzer. Menu: Brisket, pulled pork, rolls, scalloped potatoes, pineapple cole slaw, beans, fruit and veggie trays. Bite-sized desserts. If you have dietary restrictions you might want to eat before or after the event.

Question

Parking?

Answer

At the church: you may park in the parking lot along Kolb road. You may leave your vehicle there all night if needed. At the reception: you may park along the street near the house. (Please do not pull into the driveway.)
