Schuylkill River Trail
The Schuylkill River Trail is a multi-use path that stretches for miles along the riverfront. Whether you are walking, running or biking, the trail is a great way to get around the city and enjoy the skyline views and take in famous Boathouse Row! Rent a bike from Indego, Philly's bike-share program, from one of the many stations in the city and enjoy the views!
Olde City
Enjoy all the history that the city of Philadelphia has to offer! Go see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and Elfreth's Alley (the oldest residential street in America)! There are many great bars and restaurants in this neighborhood as well. Independence Beer Garden, Plough and the Stars, and Khyber Pass Pub are a few of our favorites.
Reading Terminal Market
Reading Terminal Market is considered one of the finest public markets in the U.S. With more than 80 merchants inside, it is a great place to explore and grab lunch or dinner. Beiler's Bakery, Hershel's East Side Deli, and DiNic's are some of our favorites!
Dock Street Brewery South
Local brewery just a block away from our house! Very casual, great place to go as a group for some beers and pizza!
Good Dog Bar
We went here on our first date! Very close to the venue and hotels! Stop by for an Allagash White like we did 7 years ago!
McGillin's Olde Ale House
Shortly after the Liberty Bell cracked and long before ground was broken for City Hall, McGillin’s Olde Ale House threw open its doors. Its beer taps have been flowing since 1860 — making it the oldest continuously operating tavern in Philadelphia. McGillin’s has outlasted Strawbridge’s, the Civil War and even Prohibition.

We couldn't skip this on our list! Don't be fooled by the tourist traps Pat's and Geno's. We recommend Angelo's Pizzeria, John's Roast Pork, or Cleavers for a proper Philly sandwich experience.
