I stepped off the train at Penn Station to meet, what didn’t take me long to realize, the man of my dreams. A 24-hour whirlwind "blind date" turned into 48 hours, several "postponed" trains, and the rest of our lives. 6 weeks earlier... On a Saturday in April, close family friends (Kris and Pat Ross) were celebrating the 60th birthday of one of their friends at Tellus. Knowing I lived right across the street, Kris called me to stop over for a drink (even though I didn't know the "birthday boy, Jim"). Jim and his wife, Denise and I hit it off right away and before I knew it, they were telling me all about their New York son, Dylan. After agreeing to request Dylan as a friend on Facebook, we began talking - six weeks later, we knew we had to meet. Using the excuse of a concert invitation (to a band neither of us liked), Dylan invited me to New York to finally meet face-to-face. Our "first kiss" on a sunset wine cruise on the Hudson River sealed the deal. And now here we are… getting married at sunset next to the Balearic Sea in Majorca, Spain.
