Is there a shuttle?

Answer

The venue is a 25-30 minute ride into the mountains from downtown Greenville. We are providing a shuttle to and from the venue for guests. The shuttle will leave promptly at 1:35pm, there is only one shuttle, so please be on-time. There will be a pre-ceremony champagne hour once you arrive at the venue. The shuttle is located on W. Broad Street at the main hotel entrance for the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Hotel. There will be a sign indicating that the Broshar/Henry wedding shuttle will leave from this location. If you have any questions about finding the main entrance please contact the hotel at (864) 451-5700.

Attire: Formal/Elegant Cocktail We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding with all of you in November, surrounded by all the beautiful mountains in the Upstate. If you’re wondering what to wear, we’d love to share some thoughts on attire that will fit right in with the season and the weather. For Ladies: A formal or elegant cocktail dress, or formal jumpsuit would be perfect. Since much of the wedding and reception will be outdoors, we suggest bringing a wrap or a stylish coat to keep warm. There will be a a place to leave your coat in case we luck out and it's a warm day/evening. The majority of the venue, even the outside areas, have brick/cobbled flooring so feel free to wear any footware that makes you feel amazing and ready to dance. For Gentlemen: A tailored dark suit with a dress shirt and a tie or bow tie works perfectly. Comfortable dress shoes suitable for outdoor festivities and a coat are encouraged. We really appreciate your thoughtfulness when it comes to attire. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and ready to celebrate with us!

You can RSVP via our wedding website. Simply click on the RSVP tab, enter your name, and indicate your attendance and your meal preference.

What is the wedding venue?

Answer

We chose the Lindsey Plantation in Taylors. The address and other information on the venue is available under "Schedule". The address for the venue is 754 Camp Creek Rd, Taylors, SC 29687. It's about 25 minutes outside of Greenville, SC in the mountains. The drive and the views out to the venue are gorgeous and we hope you'll love the foothills and this venue as much as we do!

Where should we get accommodation?

Answer

We recommend getting rooms/accommodations in or near Downtown Greenville. We reserved a hotel block at two amazing downtown hotels (Courtyard Greenville Downtown and Westin Poinsett) and you can access these blocks with a reduced rate by clicking on the "view" tab for each hotel under the 'Travel' section on our website. There are also other wonderful hotels in listed under the 'Travel' section for you to consider.

We would love to have everyone come, but we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue by 2:30/45 pm to give yourself time to get seated and settled. The ceremony begins at 3:00pm.
