Tying the Knot!

We are looking forward to an outdoor wedding, with good food and our closest friends and family! Nature has been a thread throughout our whole relationship, from where we met to where we got engaged to where we will get married! Come enjoy the beauty of Vermont with us and bring some good lawn/ board games! WARNING: Vermont weather can be unpredictable! Bring what you need to stay warm/ dry :) We will provide the fire.

Austin and I frequently met in the parking lot of Rumney to climb. This time he told me he had a surprise and left a map on the top of his car. I walked ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP OF RUMNEY (literally the furthest climb he could have chosen). His friend Nick (we owe you a beer still...) was standing there ready to belay me up. As I climbed I clipped into bolts that had pictures and letters tied to quick-draws. The pictures were in chronological order and the notes read like a letter all the way up. When I finished the first pitch Austin leaned his head over the top and threw his rope down for the second pitch. Once I reached the top he popped the question and an Allagash beer :)
