FAQs

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside at the venue. There is a backup plan for the ceremony inside if the weather requires. The reception will be indoors.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. If you are late, please be mindful of the solemnity of the ceremony and find a seat or place to view that does not interrupt the ceremony.

Question

Is there assigned seating for the ceremony?

Answer

No sides, just good vibes. Sit where you would like, but please note that the front couple rows will be reserved for certain family members and close friends and will be conspicuously marked as such.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

We want you all feeling comfortable and beautiful, the attire can range for cocktail to formal. Jackets are encouraged for men. Please no hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, jeans, athletic sneakers, etc.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have room blocks at two hotels within walking distance to the venue. Please see the "Travel" tab on the website for details.

Question

Is there parking available at the hotel, venue, and other wedding locations? Is transportation provided?

Answer

Each hotel has a parking garage. The ceremony and reception venue and after party location is within walking distance of the hotel, but Ubers are available if the walk is untenable for any guest. There will not be any shuttles or other transportation provided by the venue or hotel. The location for the rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks is a short drive from the hotel. Ubers are an option and if you choose to drive yourself there is plenty of metered street parking.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one or substitute an invite with another family member?

Answer

No (unless they were specifically invited).

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Our wedding will be adults only. We love your children but want to preserve our ideal celebratory atmosphere. Plus you deserve a night of fun.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

A large variety of food will be served, and the venue can account for any dietary restriction. Meal selection will occur day of the wedding and wait staff will come around and take your order and inquire about dietary restrictions.

Question

Anything I need to bring?

Answer

Dancing shoes, good energy, an appetite, cash/card for the after party and your ID if you plan on drinking during the celebrations.

Question

Can I take photos of the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please silence your phones and keep them in your pocket. We ask that you share in the ceremony with us, unencumbered by the distraction of your phone. We will have a professional photographer taking photos and they will be shared with all of our guests. You are free to take photos throughout the rest of the evening and post to social media if that is your wish.
