Allie & Zac met junior year of high school in Spanish class. Zac spent a full year asking Allie for homework he didn’t need just to have an excuse to talk to her. It worked. Senior year, they started dating, went to prom together, saw Childish Gambino together, all with the inevitable break-up date in mind of summer...college came along, and they went their separate ways. Except fate didn’t get the memo. Both ended up at the University of Wisconsin, Madison (go Badgers!), and a “totally platonic” date to a Macklemore concert reminded them the spark was still there. They agreed to give their relationship another shot, but this time, there was no expiration date. Years, cities, and long-distance later, they landed in LA and rescued their dog, Duffy, in 2020. These days, they spend their time going to concerts, emotionally investing in obscure tennis matches, traveling the world, hunting for vintage furniture, discovering their favorite stuffed olives, befriending their neighborhood sushi chefs and diner waitresses, learning how to garden and hosting friends at their place (especially now that Zac owns a grill). They’re each other’s biggest fans, perfectly matched despite being total opposites. From a Spanish classroom to the life they’ve built, their paths have always found a way… and somehow, choosing each other has always been the easiest part.
