Things To Do

Go to Napa/Sonoma and go wine tasting. Go to China Town in San Francisco (trust me it is worth it). Go to Muir Woods. Eat at Cheeseboard pizza. If you have littles, consider going to FairyLand in Oakland, the Discovery Museum, or riding the concrete slide at Cordinices Park in Berkeley

Codornices Park

Codornices Road, Berkeley, CA 94708

They have a huge concrete slide that is a blast for kids and adults who are still kids at heart

Lake Merritt

Oakland, CA

The lake itself is beautiful, but Fairyland is right on the lake, as is the bar where we first met Heart and Dagger Saloon.

The Cheeseboard Pizza

1512 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94709
, (510) 549-3183

Its eclectic. Its delicious. It is one of a kind.

Muir Woods Road

Muir Woods Road, Mill Valley, CA 94941

Redwoods. Need I say anything more.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

886 Cannery Row, Monterey, CA 93940
, (831) 648-4800

If and only if you have an extra day and don't mind a bit of a drive, this aquarium is amazing.

Napa Valley

CA

There are so many gems in Napa, Sonoma, and Calistoga. Some of my favorites are St. Supery, Mumm, J Vineyards. There are endless choices for wineries and restaurants.

Hard Water

The Embarcadero, San Francisco, CA 94111
, (415) 392-3021

Arguably the best whiskey tastings in San Francisco

Children's Fairyland

699 Bellevue Avenue, Oakland, CA 94610
, (510) 452-2259

I went here as a kid and I recommend it to everyone with small littles. It is like stepping into a nursery rhyme in the best way possible.
