When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We will only be able to celebrate with those who RSVP by October 17th. Thank you!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to our desire to adequately celebrate with all guests, only those explicitly mentioned on your invitation and RSVP card will be provided a meal and seat at the reception.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children and some will be seen throughout the wedding day; however, only guests explicitly noted on your invitation and RSVP card will be provided a meal and seat during the reception so we can adequately celebrate with all guests! Thank you for your understanding.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have a food allergy, please let Lexi or Liam know as soon as you RSVP so we can be sure to make proper accommodations. We already plan to have dinner and dessert options available for those with allergies to gluten, peanuts, and soy, and who are vegetarian.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Between semi-formal and cocktail attire. This may include midi or floor length dresses, jumpsuits, suits, blazers, and dress shirts. Please consider the weather when dressing, keeping in mind that the ceremony will be outside on grass. Our colors are terracotta brown/red, pine green, dusty rose, and gold, so please consider dressing in fall-like colors.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm, so please consider arriving at least 30 minutes prior to park, find a seat, and get settled. If there is cold weather, a heated greeting room will be available for all guests to gather in the building adjacent to the ceremony space prior to the ceremony.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be parking for both the ceremony and reception on asphalt and gravel. The two spaces are both at Forrest Hills Resort. There will be signs guiding guests to the ceremony space and parking attendants will guide everyone to the reception area that is a short drive down.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are lodges and hotel rooms available at Forrest Hills Resort, as well as a few hotels a short drive off property. These are linked under the travel tab. We have a hotel block reserved, so please mention that you are part of the Brookshire/Peterson wedding when booking! If staying on property in the cabins, lodge, or hotel, there are many things to do, so we encourage you to check everything out while you're in town!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

While no gifts are expected, we are incredibly grateful for any contribution to our home, finances, or honeymoon as we begin this chapter of life together! We are registered here on Zola, as well as on Honeyfund and Amazon. On Zola, you can purchase both gifts, as well as donate any amount of money that goes directly to our Venmo. On Amazon, you can purchase gifts that are more affordable than those on Zola. Honeyfund is how you can donate directly to our honeymoon fund that will help us make our dream trip to Greece.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Unlimited alcohol will be available for responsible consumption during the cocktail hour and reception for those of age alongside sodas, tea, water, coffee, and hot chocolate. We will have merlot, chardonnay, and white zinfandel wines, as well as a selection of beers. We will also offer iced tea, as well as a full coffee and hot chocolate bar (with marshmallows)!
