We both were called by God to attend YWAM for the next six months. We waren allebei door God geroepen om naar YWAM te gaan voor de komende 6 maanden.

The day we ended up on the same outreach team to the Philippines to spread the love of Jesus! De dag dat we in hetzelfde team naar de Filipijnen terecht waren gekomen!

The day we became best friends. De dag dat we beste vrienden werden.

Us being best friends and learning a lot about each other. De tijd dat we vrienden waren en we elkaar beter leerden kennen.

Expressed feelings for one another but waiting to date until after our missions trip. We hadden elkaar verteld dat we elkaar leuk vonden maar we hadden afgesproken om te wachten met daten tot na de uitzendingsreis.

After our missions trip we had a debrief time in Kona. There we started dating March 10th, 2023! Na de uitzending hadden we debrief in Kona. Hier begonnen we met daten op 10 Maart 2023.

Graduated from our Discipleship Training School from YWAM Kona. Geslaagd voor onze Discipleship Training School in YWAM Kona.

We did long distance for two weeks until I flew to the Netherlands for a Discipleship Bible School in Amsterdam for three months. Lange afstand gedaan totdat Brooks naar Nederland kwam voor YWAM.

Traveled around the Netherlands to many beautiful places. In Nederland naar veel prachtige plaatsen gegaan.

Ate lots of yummy food. Veel lekker eten gegeten.

Met the lovely Van De Woestijne family. De lieve van de Woestijne familie ontmoet.

Met cute Maxie and took him on many walks and gave him tons of snuggles. Maxje ontmoet en veel met hem gewandeld en geknuffeld.

Went on many cute bike rides. Op veel fiets tochten gegaan.

More bike rides hehe. Nog meer fiets tochtjes haha.

This is our classmates during our time in Amsterdam. Learned so much and grew closer to God during our time in the Bible school. Dit waren onze klasgenoten in YWAM Amsterdam. Zo erg naar God gegroeid in deze tijd!

Graduated from our Discipleship Bible School! Geslaagd voor onze Discipleship Bible School!

After our school in Amsterdam we said goodbye for four weeks. This is one of our many FaceTime calls when we did long distance in the summer with a 9 hour time difference. Na YWAM weer lange afstand gedaan voor been maand.

Christophe traveled to Oregon to visit for three months. This is the day we picked him up at the airport. (Ended up staying longer) Christophe reisde naar Oregon voor 3 maanden(Hij bleef langer).

Christophe got to know the Bontrager family! Christophe leerde de Bontrager familie kennen!

Summer time was full of many things like: worshiping by the fire. De zomer was vol met dingen zoals: aanbidding rond het kampvuur.

Baking lots of cookies! Veel koekjes bakken!

Many Oregon hikes! Veel wandelingen in Oregon!

Christophe learned to drive! Christophe leerde auto rijden!

Lots of crabbing and fishing! Veel vissen en krabben vangen!

van de Woestijne family came to visit Oregon! Familie van de Woestijne kwam naar Oregon op bezoek!

August 22, 2023 was the day Christophe proposed and we said yes! to forever together. Op 22 Augustus 2023 deed Christophe aanzoek om te gaan trouwen!

Celebrated Brooks' 23rd birthday! August 23rd:) Brooks' 23ste verjaardag gevierd op 23 Augustus!

September 9, 2023 we got legally married to help the immigration process. Op 9 September 2023 zijn we legaal getrouwd om het immigratieproces te helpen.

Marriage together has been a blessing from God and full of many memories to cherish. Getrouwd zijn is seen zegen van God geweest vol met speciale herinneringen.
