The Future Heagartys

It all started in high school where we met through track and field. Callie’s first official act of love was holding Brooks’ starting blocks. From there, we became friends who joked around and raced each other during practice. It wasn't long before Brooks was chasing Callie… both on and off the track. On July 31, 2019, we made it official even though college was right around the corner for Brooks at The University of Richmond in 2020. Callie soon had her own adventure to start as well at The University of Tennessee in 2022. We were scared of what the future had in store for us, but we always believed we could make it through the distance. And we were right. Almost six years of long distance followed. Hundreds of miles were driven for only a few short days together at a time, but every mile was worth it. The time we've spent apart has made our time together so much more meaningful. Somehow, through all the distance, we only grew closer. Now, we're back home and so happy that we've stopped counting down the days until we see each other and started counting down the days until we say "I do!" We can't wait to celebrate with you on the day it all started, July 31!
