It all started in the city that never sleeps! Amanda had just become a true New Yorker after 10 years while Brooks was just starting his life in the Empire State. After a few times that they had just missed each other throughout their time in NY….fate stepped in with the help from their mutual friends! The first night they met just happened to be when the Steelers were playing the powerhouse Vikings….this only happens every four years... And just so everyone knows the Vikings ended up winning that game but that’s not the point of this story. Back to what happened…Brooks who is a football lover decided to skip watching the game to approach Amanda at the bar and in doing so they realized how much they had in common. Sports, similar humor, family ties and they both had a knack for quoting movie lines. After that night they couldn’t wait to see each other again! They both did romantic things for the other.. Brooks gave Amanda a present for every day in February for her birthday while Amanda invited Brooks down to Florida to meet her mom and play golf. They both stole each other hearts (sorry to get a little corny on you)! They shared so much together that it is hard to believe they spent so much of their lives without each other. They have seen shows at the Red Rocks, watched their friends say their vows, went to US Open, watched hockey games, played golf together, enjoyed family holidays but most importantly they have been with each other during the most important times of their lives. Brooks and Amanda know that they can get through anything together and they look forward to spending forever together and can’t wait for what’s to come!
