Our story began in a place neither of us expected, Facebook Dating. What started as a simple conversation soon became a connection that felt different. We quickly discovered how much we had in common, especially our love for football, the Jaguars, our families, and most importantly, our faith in God. Our first date was at Dave & Buster’s, and the very next night, we found ourselves together again cheering on the Jaguars at a night game. Somewhere between the laughter, football, and hours spent getting to know each other, we began realizing that God may have had something much more beautiful planned for us than either of us could see at the time. Zac was living in Naples then, and even with the distance between us, we never wanted to go long without seeing each other. He drove to Jacksonville nearly every weekend just to spend time together. Before he eventually moved to Jacksonville, I even made the trip down to Naples to visit him, one of those little moments that seemed ordinary then but became part of the story we now treasure. As our relationship grew, so did our love for one another. We began building a life together rooted in faith, family, and the belief that the best things in life are meant to be shared. Before we knew it, our family was growing too. We welcomed our first son, Jaxson, and experienced the incredible joy of becoming parents together. Over the years, we continued building our life one step at a time. We bought our first home, created a place filled with love and memories, and then received the sweetest surprise of all, another baby boy, Everett. Watching our family grow has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. Through every season, God has been at the center of our story. He has carried us through the exciting moments, the unexpected ones, and the quiet everyday moments that have shaped who we are. We’ve learned that a beautiful life isn’t built in one big moment, but in thousands of little ones, choosing each other, loving our family, keeping God at the center, and growing together through every chapter. Zac proposed at my parents’ house, a place that carries so much meaning to our family because it was once my grandparents’ home. To be asked to spend forever with the person I love, in a place so deeply connected to the people and memories that shaped me, made the moment even more special. We celebrated that night at Julington Creek Fish Camp, surrounded by so much love and excitement for what was ahead. Looking back, we can see God’s hand in so many parts of our story. What began with a dating app became a friendship, then a love, then a family, and now a marriage. Through every chapter, He has continued to lead us closer to one another and closer to Him. We are so grateful for the life we’ve built, the family we’ve been blessed with, and all of the memories that brought us here. And now, surrounded by the people we love most, we get to begin our favorite chapter yet. With God at the center, our family beside us, and so much love in our hearts, we cannot wait to become husband and wife.
