FAQs

Important details below! If you have any other questions, please reach out to Brooklynn or Matt.
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm. We suggest arriving at 3:00pm so you can comfortably park, find your seat, and settle in.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your support and presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! However, should you wish to help us celebrate with a gift, a contribution to our home or honeymoon would be warmly appreciated. We are registered through Zola. Please visit our registry page for more details.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dressy-Casual. This is an outdoor wedding in May :) Wear whatever will make you comfortable given that it may be hot outside.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. However, due to limited venue space, being mindful of social-distancing, and the need to keep things smaller with both of our very large families, it is adults only (unless specifically noted on the RSVP). Enjoy the night off!

Question

May I bring a guest even if they are not noted on my invitation?

Answer

If your invitation was addressed to you AND your guest, absolutely! Otherwise, we're sorry but our guest list is set. We are trying to keep the # of guests in attendance lower to help with social-distancing and other COVID limitations.

Question

Is the ceremony inside or outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony & cocktail hour will be held outside at Ever After Farms. The ceremony has a large shade tree and the cocktail hour porch is covered, but not air conditioned. The reception will be held inside.

Question

What time will the reception end?

Answer

Our goal is to have the reception traditions and cake done by 8:30pm. The official farewell will take place between 9:30-9:45 pm. Hellooo, Monday workday.

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol to the wedding?

Answer

No, we request that you respect the venue's rules. We will have an open bar following our ceremony! We'll provide beer, wine, as well as multiple non-alcoholic options such as water and sodas. We only ask that you please tip your bartender!

Question

COVID-19 Information

Answer

As of right now, we plan to move forward with our wedding. Everyone invited is very special to us and we want you to be safe and healthy! Please be considerate, stay home and watch virtually if you don't feel well. *If you feel sick, have any symptoms (fever, cough, etc.), or have been exposed to someone who has felt sick or tested positive to the virus within a week of the wedding, please do not attend. Follow the CDC guidelines for quarantine/receiving positive test results. *Masks are encouraged (but not required), please do what makes you feel comfortable! Social distancing will be a goal; however, not guaranteed. *We will have hand sanitizer available, but always best to bring your own personal supply if able.

Question

Virtual Wedding Information

Answer

We are excited that this day is FINALLY here. However, we completely understand if you are unable or uncomfortable attending the wedding in person. We will have a link available for those who wish to watch the ceremony and highlights from the comfort and safety of their homes. We apologize in advance for any technical difficulties that are beyond our control. Again, we thank everyone for your patience and understanding as we try to navigate planning our wedding during a pandemic. Stay safe and healthy!

Question

What kind of food will be there?

Answer

We will provide light refreshments for cocktail hour and a buffet-style meal for dinner. And yes, there will be dessert! PSSST calories don’t count on the weekend ;)

For all the days along the way
