We were coming to the end of our senior year. Hunter, a student-athlete, was dedicated to finishing school and getting everything ready for college, while Brooklynn spent countless hours in the gym for cheer. As fate would have it we would go our whole lives going to school together. As well as having classes together and even sharing friends. After Brooklynn had invited Hunter to her 18th birthday dinner, and they had talked back and forth a few times, he would finally ask her on a date. The first date went really good so there were more and more dates. On March 18, 2023 Brooklynn went to his house for the first time. It was a super cold day but Hunter insisted they go on a walk behind his house. When they get to the end of this walk, he sits her down on a stump overlooking the mountains. They talk and that's when he asked her to be his girlfriend. She says YES! After being out there for awhile they go back inside. Little does she know Hunter has another surprise waiting for her. That same day he asked her to the prom by singing a cute little song and flipping his guitar that says, "Will you go to prom with me?" A year goes by of them dating. They graduate highschool together, they start their first year of college together and so much more. A year later on the exact date of Hunter asking her to be his girlfriend they take that same walk. In the same spot, overlooking the same mountains he gives her a promise ring. From there they dreamed of a day they thought would never get come. Well the day has finally come. WE ARE GETTING MARRIED and we wouldn't have our story any other way. We have come so far and went through so many things together, and we cannot wait to see what God has in store for our future together!
