Matt and Eric have been friends since preschool. Eric always loved going to Matt's house as a kid because Matt had cool violent video games to play. During undergrad, Matt and Eric got up to no good climbing rooftops on the University of Alberta campus and climbing the Quesnel Bridge in Edmonton.
Courtney Malec
Maid of Honor
Courtney is Brooklynn's older sister. They grew up together and Brooklynn loved and looked up to Courtney so much when they were little. This of course, pissed Courtney off tremendously because she couldn't stand when her sister copied her. Now they're great friends in addition to being sisters and love hiking together, playing crabs at pools, and yapping while watching trash TV together
William Wood

William and Eric have been friends since middle school and bonded over their love of the outdoors and fast food. A fun fact about William is that he has been banned from Costco for sneaking in without a membership to get hotdogs. William and Eric have spent many an evening driving around, climbing rooftops and eating McDonalds.
Kat Heger

Kat and Brooklynn met when they worked together at the Lewis Lab at the University of Calgary. They became fast friends and loved when it was their turn to fill up the dewars of liquid nitrogen together because it was a guaranteed hour to chill, have fun, and get paid to do it. Although they haven't lived in the same city for over 5 years, they keep in close touch with 3 hour video calls
Alan Shapiro
Groomsman
Alan is Eric's older brother and was always very nice to Eric growing up, creating elaborate movies out of Legos for Eric's amusement. After several years of living in different cities, Alan and Eric now both live in Vancouver and enjoy going hiking together, spending time with Alan's very cute toddler Adrian, and drinking strong cups of coffee.
Vienna Buchholz

Brooklynn and Vienna met on move in day at Kananaskis Hall at the University of Calgary. They pulled up to the building at the same time and found out we were on the same floor and in the same program. They became friends over study sessions and eventually lived together as roommates. Vienna and Brooklynn have stayed in touch throughout their second degrees and life beyond through strategically chosen clerkship and residency rotations and through Brooklynn and Eric's regular trips to Edmonton
Samuel Shapiro
Groomsman
Sam is Eric's oldest brother and was pretty mean to Eric when they were younger. However, Sam eventually saw the error of his ways and Sam and Eric bonded by moving in together and living in downtown Edmonton together for 2 years. Sam's favourite activities during this time included falling asleep in Eric's bed and forcing Eric to sample countless samples of light roast coffees that Eric did not enjoy.
Riel Allward

Brooklynn and Riel lived on the same floor of residence for 2 years at the University of Calgary and bonded over a shared hatred of volunteering to be an orientation leader. They spent lots of time having tea and takeout and now share unflattering photos of their cats back and forth
Leon Kalashnikov

Leon is Eric's younger cousin. Leon and Eric spent a memorable afternoon cross country skiing in Whistler while definitely very sober. Eric always loved going over to Leon's to hang out as a kid to shoot fake guns and run around. Now, their hangouts involve fewer guns but just as much fun.

Grace and Brooklynn were neighbors in Victoria, which was ideal for hot girl walks. They bonded over complaining about law school, clothing exchanges, and Starbucks runs between classes
