Yes. Semi-formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
We will be following the venue guidelines and taking the necessary precautions to help ensure a safe and joyous celebration. So with that being said: - Please do not attend if you're not feeling well or have COVID-19 symptoms - Masks are welcomed. We want you to feel comfortable. - Hand sanitizer will be available. - To adhere to social distancing, please refrain from bringing a guest that wasn't explicitly invited. We'll continue to update our guests as things progress. Thank you for your patience.
Usually, we love the more the merrier, but in this case, unless specified on your formal invitation, we'd appreciate it if you just bring yourself.
We love your kids but thought you would like to take the night off, therefore, we request the presence of adults only. It's an 18+ affair, except for the flower girl and ring bearer because they're too cute.
Doors open at 5 PM. Ceremony begins 5:30 PM SHARP! Please be on time so you don't miss a thing!
We advise early travel to Deity given its location and timing of the ceremony. The NYC rush hour traffic can be brutal! There are five parking garages within three blocks of Deity. Most of them are on Schermerhorn Street. Visit https://www.spotangels.com/ to see what's available nearby. Just search for Deity's address, 368 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, and the results will pop up! There is also metered street parking on Atlantic Avenue until 7 PM. Deity is surrounded by a residential area, so parking can also be found on the side streets.
Two of Deity's three levels are accessible for those with limited mobility. The upper floor ceremony space, The Loft, has a chair lift up to it. The Lounge, on the ground-level floor, does have 4 steps to it, and we have asked for a mobile ramp for the stairs. Unfortunately, The Cellar, where the after-party will happen, is not wheelchair accessible.
Yes, please let us know if you have a food allergy or dietary requirements. We will work with the venue to make sure your needs are accommodated.
