Will there be group transportation arranged to and from the Toronto airport?

Answer

We have arranged a party bus to get to the Toronto airport. The first pick up will be at our place at 1:30am and the next pick up will be at Riley's parents ~20 mins later. The cost is $55 per person for the bus if you would like to join :)

What are the passport requirements?

Answer

A passport is required to travel to Mexico. Please ensure your passport will not expire within 6 months of your flight.

Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception are scheduled to be outdoors so please dress accordingly.

What is the dress code for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

The dress code is resort elegant. For women consider: - maxi dresses, midi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits - breathable fabrics - sandals, wedges, dressy flats, or heels (may want to avoid stilettos as the beach deck can be uneven) For men consider: - linen shirts, button-downs, or lightweight dress shirts - dress pants or chinos (jackets optional) - loafers or dressy shoes Please avoid: - beachwear (swimsuits, cover-ups, flip flops - no overly casual items (gym shorts, jeans) - avoid overly formal attire like tuxedos We want you to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate - think breezy elegance with a touch of vacation style! There will be some time in between the ceremony and cocktail hour to cool off or do an outfit change prior to the reception if needed!

What will the weather be like in April?

Answer

BEAUTIFUL! Expect warm days and comfortably mild evenings (daytime highs around 29C, nighttime lows around 25C). April is part of the dry season, so rainfall is relatively low, and any showers are usually brief. The breeze from the Caribbean Sea helps keep the humidity comfortable.

When is the recommended arrival time for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the Beach Deck by no later than 4:45pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged. Feel free to take photos during cocktail hour and the reception.

Do I have to pay for anything once I arrive?

Answer

The resort is all-inclusive. We recommend bringing extra cash if you would like to participate in excursions, spa treatments, shopping, as well as for tips.

What should I pack besides outfits?

Answer

We recommend sunscreen, bug spray, after-sun lotion/aloe vera, personal medications, sunglasses, insulated drink cup and a hat.

How many bags can I bring?

Answer

Each person can bring 1 checked bag plus a carry-on

Answer

Your presence is our present! We feel incredibly lucky to have already been celebrated so generously at our wedding shower and through our raffle. Since this is a destination wedding, we truly don't expect any gifts - just come ready to relax, celebrate, and enjoy with us!
