Yampa Valley Golf Course

The Yampa Valley Golf Course lies along the scenic Yampa River, just minutes from town. This is a course where everyone can play up to 18-holes, and it won't bust your golf budget.

Hiking - Cedar Mountain

If you love to hike, Cedar Mountain is just outside of the city of Craig and offers a 3.2 - mile loop trail. It is moderately challenging and takes an average of 1 hour and 35 minutes to complete. You are guaranteed to see specular views of the valley. Be sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen.

Elkhead Reservoir State Park

This 900 surfaces-acre reservoir is located approximately 12 miles from Craig. The reservoir provides recreational opportunities including boating, swimming, jet skiing, water skiing, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing.

Wyman Living History Museum

This museum was founded by local Lue Wyman located just minutes from the town of Craig. The dream started in 1949 in Elk Springs Colorado. While Lou was filling up a water barrel for his sheep herders, he noticed an abandoned 1932 Lincoln. He paid $15.00 for it and has been collecting ever since.

Meeker Recreation Center

The town of Meeker has an amazing indoor recreation center and is located about 40 miles south of Craig. The pool has something for everyone! Some of the features include zero depth pool with water features, lazy river, water slide, diving board, and hot tub.

Sombrero Ranch Horse Camp

Sombrero Ranches is located approximately 40 miles south from the town of Craig. Their stables are on the White River near Meeker, Colorado. The Colorado's scenic White River provides incredible views while enjoying riding gentle and experienced mountain horses.

Hiking - Fish Creek Falls

Fish Creek Falls is a national recreation trail in located 3 miles from the town of Steamboat Springs. The 280-foot-tall waterfall is quite a magnificent site. The trail is wide and short.

Del's Triangle 3 Ranch

Del's Triangle 3 Ranch is located an hour (59 miles) west of Craig. The ranch offers both Horseback Rides and Buggy Tours in the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness Area and the Routt National Forest.
