From the McDonalds in Blue Ridge at Hwy 515 and GA-5. Turn onto GA-5/ Blue Ridge Drive. Drive past Dairy Queen, then Mercier's Orchard, Travel 7 Miles. At Abernathy's Furniture, Go .1 mile. Turn right on Madola Rd. Go 4 miles. At the dead-end, turn left on Mobile Road. Slight left to stay on Mobile Rd. After the curve "Stoneybrook" subdivision is on the left, be careful coming in. It isn't easy to see other cars. This is John's Ridge Road. Go .4 mile and turn down the gravel road. Drive-up all the way into the field for parking.
Guests who are traveling from the ceremony head northwest on John's Ridge Rd toward Old Pl. 0.4 miles. Turn right onto Mobile Rd 0.3 mile. Slight right to stay on Mobile Rd 0.2 mile. Turn right onto Madola Rd 4.0 miles. Turn left onto Old Hwy 5/Old State Hwy 5. Turn left onto GA-5 N/Blue Ridge Dr. Follow GA-5 N/Blue Ridge Dr and TN-68 N to US-64 W/US-74 W in Polk County 3.3 miles Turn left onto TN-68 N 3.3 miles. Use the right lane to take the US-64/US-74 ramp to Cleveland/Murphy Nc/Ocoee River 0.2 mile. Turn left onto US-64 W/US-74 W (signs for Cleveland). Wildwater Rafting Company will be on the left.
The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors.
The high is usually in the high 60's - low 70's. The low can get down into the 40's - so bring something warm just in case.
This event is a laid-back and casual wedding. The couple wants everyone to be comfortable. It is an outside wedding, so please wear appropriate shoes. We will be walking through a field for the ceremony and dancing on gravel for the reception, so please be prepared for that.
We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes to an hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled.
You will be missed. If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
