FAQs

The Wedding Website of Brooklyn Tucker and Bryson Darlington
Question

What if I do not rsvp in time?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline is May 20th, 2026. If you don't RSVP by May 20th, 2026, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

What should I do if I cannot attend?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "will not attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "attended", but find that you cannot attend, please notify Brooklyn or Bryson as soon as possible.

Question

Can I bring a date or a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be indicated when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding as we respect our venue's guest capacity.

Question

Is this a kid friendly wedding?

Answer

If your invitation includes your children, it will be indicated when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding as we respect our venue's guest capacity. Please feel free to message Brooklyn or Bryson if you feel we missed your little one!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors in beautiful Washington in late June. This time of year typically offers mild, pleasant weather, but we recommend dressing comfortably for the season. As the venue includes mostly grassy areas, we suggest choosing footwear that’s comfortable for walking on grass (think wedges, block heels, flats, or dressy sandals). Rain or shine, the show will go on! We have plans in place to celebrate no matter the weather, so please come ready to enjoy the day with us!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal attire. Think polished and dressy, but still comfortable enough to celebrate and dance the night away! For women: cocktail dresses, midi or full length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant skirts and tops are perfect. For men: button-down shirts, ties, slacks or chinos, and dress shoes are great choices. A blazer or sport coat is welcome but not required. We encourage guests to dress nicely while choosing something they feel comfortable and confident in. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What time will the wedding ceremony begin?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at four o'clock in the afternoon. Venue doors will open at three-thirty for seating. Venue doors will close at 3:55 for seating.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Beecher Hill House has plenty of parking on the property.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, so we are asking for no phones or cameras to be out until the reception. The greatest gift you could give us is being fully present as we say "I do"! We have hired professionals to capture this special moment and we promise to share all the photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you'd like!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a bar and professional bartender serving a selection of local beer, wine, cider, and seltzers for you to enjoy. Cheers to celebrating together!

Question

How can I contribute to your registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! For those who would like to give a gift, we’ve created a registry that includes a mix of traditional items and contributions toward experiences and future plans. You can find our full registry (and contribution options) linked here on our website for your convenience. We will have a gift table at the wedding as well for those who wish to give their gift in person!
